I went to Battery Park to document the No Ban No Wall protest.
This little girl asked her dad to write "Be Nice, Donald" on her sign.
West Side Story
Back on the film festival trail! On the eve of NYFF53, a huge crowd (literally everyone and their dog) gathers outside the Met opera for a free outdoor screening of West Side story
Ett glas vin och en macka.... a relatively low-key midsummer in Malmköping with my best friend and my favourite little boy, Eino.
Recently I decided to do a photography course at SVA (I did this one, with the hilarious Joe Sinnott, who found my accent befuddling). It was incredibly challenging. Here are some of the photos that I liked (and which he hated the least!) Let's just say I probably shouldn't be a sports photographer.
At the end of 2014, some of my fellow David Lynch devotees and I made the trip to Snoqualmie Falls. It was even more beautiful than I imagined, and now I want to buy a cabin in the woods.

NYFF52 Red Carpet
Although I missed half of this year's New York Film Festival due to a trip to London, the Birdman red carpet was one of my favourite shoots ever. My highschool best friend and I had matching Batman locker keys, and we weren't referring to Christian Bale, so let's just say it was pretty great to see Michael Keaton in the flesh.

NYFF52 Opening Night
52nd New York Film Festival, Gone Girl premiere and opening night party
My friend Ben got married in Salt Lake City. While quite possibly annoying people at the time, I made sure to document this occcasion as thorougly as possible.
A selection of photos from the red carpets and parties of the 51st New York Film Festival. This was my first festival shooting the red carpet, and I discovered that if you stand behind the BBC film crews you can steal their nice lighting.
Parker Posey & Richard Linklater
While enacting my "random acts of travel" policy I headed to Canada to go to the Toronto International Film Festival and took a few million snaps at the closing night party.
It's not every day you get to attend a wedding in an actual Swedish castle. To make it even more magical, this wedding was on New Year's Eve.
Chap Olympiad 2012
One of my absolute favourite things about London is the annual Chap Olympiad. The event features such sporting feats as "a hop, skip and a gin & tonic" and "tug-of-moustache". All athletes must be sufficiently drunk to be eligible to participate.
To commiserate the ongoing gentrification of Dalston in East London, we held a party where you had to purchase your outfit from a selection of stores struggling to survive on Kingsland Road, London. This was the result.
